One of my favorite bloggers (blogresses?) Ambra Nykola was fired from her job due to something that she posted on her blog. While she has the graciousness and class not to name names, to that company I say: Boooooooooo!!!!!! (I want to say something else, but my mother may read this site.)
None other that Michelle Malkin had this wonderful post:
Ambra Nykol, one of the freshest and most interesting voices in the blogosphere, got fired from her day job. I won't call her "sassy," because she would probably throw virtual eye darts at me. And I don't even know if she's looking for a 9-to-5 journalism job. But if you want real diversity--of thought, not just skin--on your editorial pages, go check out her work and grab her before someone else does. We've had our differences on the "hip-hop culture," but I could not think of another person that could more advantageously represent it's better elements. Any media orginization would be crazy to not snatch her up while they have the chance. You'll kick yourself if you don't!
Some of my favorite posts: Here, here & here.
Sound Politics rises in defense.
She's mentioned in National Review Online!
Some cool stuff I've found elsewhere: here and here.
She's back! Her return post.
