'Ohio for Blackwell' is Everywhere!

Under the sure hand of Matt Naugle, Ohio for Blackwell has hit the big time! The lovely and talented Michelle Malkin has linked to Matt's post on the horrible sexual assault of a disabled teen that occurred at Mifflin High School. A school that my number-one daughter almost went to.
From Michelle:
On March 9, according to press reports, a developmentally disabled girl told Mifflin school officials that four boys dragged her into the school auditorium, punched her in the head and face, pushed her to her knees, and forced her to have oral sex with two of them. A crowd of students watched and one student videotaped the incident. The 16-year-old girl's lip was bloodied in the alleged gang attack; dazed and crying, her face swollen, she reported the assault immediately to her special education teacher, Lisa Upshaw-Miller.
The principal and the assistant principal tried their best to cover up the crime, more worried about bad publicity than the care of this child after her brutal rape.
More from Michelle:
The case hasn't gotten nearly enough attention outside of Ohio. Disabled advocates should raise hell. Parents should raise hell. Teachers with spines should raise hell.
I do wish the networks and cable news stations would forego a car chase or Michael Jackson segment to spotlight how out of control the blackboard jungle has become--and how complicit CYA educrats are in creating these dangerous environments.
Indeed.
This is where Glenn Beck comes in. A nationally syndicated talk-radio host, Mr. Beck refused to let this atrocity be swept under the rug and has featured several discussions on his show.
Matt Naugle of Ohio for Blackwell has details on the failure of leadership at the highest level:
Today, Columbus Mayor Mike Coleman, was scheduled to speak with Glenn Beck about the case. For those of you keeping track, Coleman is the only Democrat who has announced that he will run for Governor of Ohio.
But, as it came closer to time for the interview, Coleman's office gave Glenn Beck's producers the run-around. Coleman actually missed the scheduled interview time! So instead, Beck "interviewed" Stu, his producer, who pretended to be Mayor Coleman.
Obviously, Coleman's office was listening, as Mayor Coleman decided to call in towards the end of the program.
This is the man that thinks who he can lead Ohio? He has failed to lead Columbus and this incident displays clearer than any other the cowardice that is Mike Coleman.
The Glenn Beck-Mike Coleman interviews may be heard here.
While this is a more explicit example of the out of control school system in Columbus, this is by far the only failure of leadership. My wife and I have had to ride the red tape and incompetence with two incidents involving our elementary school children this year.
A bus driver pushed my son into his seat and called him a "nucklehead." While this is sometimes true, it is up to my wife and I to point out this flaw. (The driver was "written up" and had a warning added to her permanent file. She was later transferred.)
The current incident is more serious. A substitute told my youngest daughter - the shyest, quietest, sweetest girl you'd ever meet - that "she would be smacked."
NO! This will not be swept under the rug so easily. The incident has been reported up the chain of command and I will take it to the highest level if I have to.
I used to support the public school system. No more. This behavior is bad enough from the school bully, from a teacher it is beyond the pale. The liberal indoctrination is bad enough, but threatening violence against children is unacceptable. Worrying more about your reputation than the health and safety of a disabled girl is outrageous.
School choice NOW!
